A sprocket is a mechanical wheel with outer ‘teeth’ or notches, usually connected to rotate a chain or belt. The most common example of this would be attached to a bicycle chain, though they can also be found in tracked vehicles and industrial machinery where gears are unsuitable.
At Bearing Revolution, we stock a variety of sprockets including pilot bore sprockets, platewheels and taper bore sprockets. Mostly made up of steel or stainless steel and can differ in the number of teeth on its outer surface. Available in simplex, duplex and triplex design.
