Cylindrical roller bearings usually comprise of an inner and outer ring that are separated by rollers that are longer than their diameter and can handle a higher load compared to traditional ball bearings. Cylindrical roller bearings can often be found in gearboxes, from motorbikes to larger applications such as wind turbines.

This particular bearing range can differ in design normally varying in size or quantity of rollers and the use of inner/outer ring flanges. Their rigid, durable design allows them to carry heavy radial loads in high-speed systems with ease whilst sustaining a long service life.
