The QCB Stainless range of housed bearing units consists of solid base housings in AISI 204 stainless steel matched with AISI 440 stainless steel inserts. The addition of open and closed style end caps further prevents contaminant ingress.
Used in applications where product contamination is forbidden and only the strength of a steel housing will suffice, QCB Stainless bearing units are available in a range of housing styles and with bore sizes 12 – 50mm or .1/2” – 2” from stock.
The housings offer a solid base and a smooth finish to limit areas susceptible to bacterial growth.
Open and closed shaft end covers to match are available to fit one or both sides of the housings (as applicable) to prevent contaminant entry even when the machinery is subject to high pressure wash-down.
QCB Stainless inserts are factory filled with an FDA approved food grade grease.
